Her performance received rave reviews. her work in the 92 shows performed in the production. It was also voted the production of the year by Canadian critics in 2002. The conservatory in Stratford takes eight people as well as four females and a handful of others for a weeks of crash courses. The role was secured for Contractor for the following series of plays as she was offered the part as Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
